Wandering with Marija & Stewart for a short photo session at the Scottish Wilderness
Location: Glen Etive, Scottish Highlands, Scotland
Guiding and photography by Weirdie Grizzly
I met with Marija and Stewart few months ago when we went for a dinner with my girlfriend who was Marijas work buddy. We linked togheter so easy an fast as Marija came from Serbia only 25 miles from the village where I spent my childhood. Small world isn`t it?
Once they saw my works they asked me to take their photos celebrating their wedding anniversary. So we decided to go and do their short post-wedding photo session at Glen Etive`s numerous beautiful spots.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
"We are Stewart and Marija Hutcheson. We met online it 2012 and after speaking to each other every day for a year, we finally met in Serbia. We spent a week together in Belgrade and suspected we found our soul mate. We married in 2016 and have been settled in Scotland for a few years now."
How did you find your adventure photographer?
"We met Laszlo through his partner Mel, who was Marija's colleague at the time. We had a lunch date together and soon enough realised he is a big guy with a big passion. He showed us his work and we decided then and there we want to do a photoshoot."
How did you choose your photoshoot location?
"Initially Marija's idea was to do more of a sentimental photoshoot around Doune, but Stewart was looking for something more scenic so we chose Glencoe this time. We'll just have to do another one in springtime!"
What was the inspiration behind your photoshoot?
"We always wanted to do a photoshoot for our wedding anniversary. To us it symbolises our achievements as a couple, as we had to overcome so many hurdles to be together in Bonnie Scotland."
What was your favourite moment from the day?
"Our favourite moments were discovering areas of Glencoe we never knew existed and holding onto each other in the freezing cold."
Any advice for other couples?
"Do bring a good pair of waterproof boots, be prepared to go off the beaten path and just have fun with it!"

Wandering with the couple for hours at the wilderness - approx 2 hours of post wedding photography
Location: numerous lovely spots at the Highlands, Scotland

I am a quiet guy and words are not my biggest strength just yet. I prefer my photos to talk for themselves. Here is a post wedding photoshoot, I hope you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed capturing this lovely couple in September.
My Hungarian clients already had their wedding in Hungary with family and friends, but they decided to get a post wedding photo session at the beautiful Highlands as they live in Scotland. They didn’t know the Scottish Highlands so they asked for my advice on how to plan their post wedding photo session in the Scottish rural. I have helped them organise their big day. We had a goal to make some spectacular images at breathtaking locations.
The couple arrived at Callander - the gateway to the Highlands - we were off driving to the north. On the way to the location, we had the opportunity to have a chat and I showed them the beautiful countryside.
We planned a fairly short photo session with many different locations as they wanted to have beautiful memories of their session but they both find it difficult to open up in front of the camera. In the end, they had an awesome experience wandering in the Scottish wilderness. They were amazed by the beauty of nature around us and the weather - we had rain, sunshine, rain and sunshine at same time and some lovely golden light at the end of the day. Yes, this is why I love Scotland and the Highlands. :)

The last destination of my European trip was Bournemouth, England in September of 2018.
I am so thankful and happy to call these beautiful human beings my friends. They are photographers too - from Kiss in Light Photography. I had the privilege and real honour to take their annual family photos, again. :)
Enjoy the summer sunset and their carefree, lovely moments.
