” We cannot recommend Weirdie Grizzly enough. From idea conception to our “I Do’s,” he was there to answer every question, recommend florists, restaurants, and lodging. He was very accommodating about scheduling Zoom meetings with us every 6 weeks or so leading up to the big day and so polite and attentive to our wishlist for our elopement.
Laszlo truly went above and beyond what we expected of a photographer, he helped me hike 10 hours in a wedding dress, adjusted my veil about 20 times, had warm tartan capes to bundle up in, showed us across the scottish highlands and told us facts and history about our chosen destination, the flora and fauna, and local customs. His eye for lighting was superb and he calmed all our fears over bad weather, we chased a storm all day and got some stunning moody shots just before one glorious magical golden hour at the very end. He even shared his meat pie with me when the hanger grumps interjected our day. Pro tip- if you choose 8+ hours of adventuring BRING A SNACK!!! Trust me!
That is all to say that he is a wonderful human being before saying a thing about his artistry. Our photos are stunning, he was worth every penny and more. Every friend and family member that has seen our gallery has told us that our photos are the most beautiful photography they have ever seen and even I, guilty of being a very self critical unphotogenic bride, am over the moon thrilled with how they turned out. Laszlo managed to capture rain, rainbows, sun, mountains, lochs, woods, and the angles leave nothing to be desired.
We loved that he used both digital and traditional film and his range of skill with a lens- chef’s kiss. We cannot thank him enough for capturing such a special adventure, the first of many in our new life together.
